Matt graduated from St Joseph’s College, Gregory Terrace in 2020 with an ATAR of 99.85, having studied Specialist, Methods, Physics, Chemistry, Digital Solutions, and English. He was awarded a National Merit Scholarship to study Bachelor of Science/Doctor of Dental Surgery at The University of Melbourne.
During high school, Matt was involved in numerous extra-curricular activities ranging from orchestras to debating and basketball. Having a deep passion for computer science and maths, he attained outstanding results in national and international academic competitions such as the Australian Mathematical Olympiad, Oxford University Computing Challenge, and the Peter Doherty Award for Excellence in STEM Education.
In his free time, Matt revels in go-karting sessions with mates, devours tech reviews on YouTube, and pretends to be an expert at trading stocks. Through Creating Students, Matt wishes to mentor younger students with similar enthusiasm, walking with them in realising their potential and actualising their goals.
