Richard Lindsay

Richard graduated from Gregory Terrace with an OP1 in 2018, moving to Townsville in 2019 to commence his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at James Cook University.

Currently a 3rd year medical student, he is also an active participant in a range of university activities including serving as Townsville Co-Chair for the Rural Health in the Northern Outback (RHINO) Club – a society which aims to help raise awareness and support for health services in disadvantaged rural communities. Richard is also a keen basketball player and supporter, representing the JCU Medicine team the past 2 years.

Richard brings a depth of experience across multiple areas including expertise in Physics, Mathematics, English and in particular an enduring love of Modern History. He brings the ability to guide and support students through the challenges of academic life through the use of sound proven study techniques.

As an Academic Mentor, Richard looks forward to sharing his love of learning with the future generation of young leaders!
